Description
I purchased SRL311-00076 from Dennis Carey early in 2001. It is a MESS. He had taken the non-smog head (with B cam) and the comp pan off of the car, but other than that, it was essentially complete. From the pounds of sand and fishing weights in the trunk, it is obvious that this car had spent a lot of time on the beach. The salt was less than kind to the vehicle. The history of the car per the PO is that it was used as a drag racer at some point. There is evidence to support that on the car. The car had the rear fenders cut out for large wheels and tires and it has some interesting traction bars bolted to the springs. The comp sway bar is still on the car, and per the PO it has the comp springs. The long-term plan is to find a decent 67.5 1600 donor car and to rebuild it as close to stock as possible.
